GIS for Everyman

The potential of GIS is obvious to most but the obstacles are many and the effort considerable to creating, hosting, and maintaining your own.  After much threatening and posturing, we finally took the big leap into the GIS pool.  Yes, friends and neighbors, Total CAD Systems is hosting and we want you to jump in with us. The water is fine!  All you need is an Internet connection and anyone in your company can perform queries, searches, buffer analysis, create thematic maps, generate reports, and more.  Our goal is to remove, as much as is possible, the hurdles that prevented you from joining the GIS world in the past.

Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning for GIS…

This is not the first (or last) time you’ll see me steal a line from Emma Lazarus’ poem but it just fits so many situations.  If the financial and/or technical requirements of owning a GIS have placed it beyond the reach of your organization then this plan is for you.  For less than the cost of a two-cup-a-day latte habit your company can have its own secure, personalized GIS site.  No expensive hardware.  No expensive software.  No expensive training.  All you need is an Internet connection.

We’ll train you free and our basic package includes an assortment of tools so easy to execute the instructions will fit on 3″x5″ index cards.  Should your instructions be destroyed by some catastrophic event (i.e. a coffee spill) the online help is both intuitive and thorough.

There are no expensive support contracts.  None.  Our support is free and it’s delivered by some of the top industry-trained GIS personel anywhere.

Should your requirements grow so will your GIS.  We offer programming and data entry services to those of you needing more functionality than is available in our basic package.  We plan to make this so simple that even larger organizations with established GIS departments may be forced to re-evaluate their investments.  This is GIS for everyman.
