Autodesk 2011 Product Freezes and Quits Responding


Autodesk has posted on their website a solution for this issue.  This is in reference to TS15228698

The issue rears it’s ugly head when you exit the Autodesk program and try to launch it again.  The program will hang, or “freeze” and it does not respond.

In most cases, the InfoCenter process is still running in the background.  There is a workaround for this issue. 

If you go into the Task Manager, Processes tab, locate the wscommcntr.exe, and select the END PROCESS button.  This should let you re-launch your Autodesk product successfully.
