Vents and Drains
Vents and drains on high and low points of lines
respectively, to be used for hydrostatic testing, are not shown, as they are
established on the piping arrangements drawings. Process vents and drains are
shown.
Valves on the P&ID
1. Show and tag process and service valves with
size and identifying number if applicable. Give pressure rating if different from
line specification.
2. Indicate any valve that have to be locked open
or locked closed.
3. Indicate powered operators.
